myKustoma Shipping & Delivery Guide
Shipping on mykustoma is charged per order and is based on the weight of item, and distance between seller and delivery address.
mykustoma charges per order because items on mykustoma belong to different sellers located at different parts of Nigeria. However, the shipping charge is minimal, instituted to ensure smooth order delivery all over the country.
mykustoma understands the plight of buyers in this instance, that is why its platform is GPS enabled, so buyers can shop with consideration of proximity.
mykustoma has partnered with EMS and TNT to deliver anywhere in Nigeria. Choose any of these logistics companies during order to deliver at your doorstep.
Delivery is dependent on distance between seller and delivery address. We deliver within 2 – 5 days for intra state orders, 3 – 8 days for interstate orders. Day count starts after order confirmation.
Delivery address is the actual address you want your order delivered. It works in the case you are ordering a gift for someone. Please input your delivery address and contact phone number before you confirm your order.
User would be notified on every step of the order fulfilment: order ready, order shipment, pre-delivery call and delivery notification. In the case where you do not get any notification, especially order ready notification, please
mykustoma offers a flexible platform where you can cancel an order if need be. However, you can only cancel an order before order is shipped. In the case where order might have already been shipped, you would have to wait till the order is delivered, and then return the order (read Return and Refund Guide ).
mykustoma wants to deliver anywhere buyer finds convenient. It offers the option to change delivery address even after order confirmation. However, this is best done before order is shipped.
Please contact us if you want to change your delivery address. In the case where order might have already been shipped, we can redirect the order but it could incur additional charges to get order to the new address.
Delivery is delayed if buyer has been notified of order shipment but order is not delivered within stipulated delivery timeline above. mykustoma and its delivery partners have an agreement that ensures speedy delivery and a refund of 50 percent of shipping charge for compensation, if delivery is delayed. Buyer should please contact us.
However, there may be unforeseen/uncontrollable circumstances resulting in delay of order. In this case, there may be no compensation, but buyer should contact us to resolve the situation.
There could be a situation where buyer is not notified during the order fulfilment process (order ready, order shipped, pre-delivery call and order delivered), but understand that this is not supposed to be. Buyer should contact us for the best resolution using the following guidelines:
Unsuccessful delivery happens when there was a delivery attempt by our courier partner but no delivery because of the inability to contact the buyer at the delivery address. In this case we would attempt second delivery. In a situation of unsuccessful delivery after second attempt, order is automatically cancelled.
Please note that we try to prevent unsuccessful delivery with pre-delivery calls. Buyer is advised to communicate conveniences with the delivery personnel when contacted. We have buyer’s interest at heart.
No delivery happens when your ordered item is not delivered after a span of days outside our shipment and delivery guide. This means there was no delivery attempt and buyer does not get order after 8 days for intrastate order, and 14 days for interstate order.
Please in the case of no delivery, please after 8 and 14 days respectively to give the best resolution you deserve. We want to resolve problems and satisfy customers at all times.
Damaged order item is a generic term we use to cover for damaged, expired, fractured, distorted items etc. upon delivery. This means that the item is not in new or good condition when delivered.
In the case of damaged item, buyer needs to as soon as possible so we ensure the buyer gets a replacement or a refund made where necessary. We apologize for the inconveniences.
We hope there won’t be a case like this where buyer gets a different item from what he/she ordered. However, we don’t displace the fact that it is humanly possible. In the case where a wrong item is delivered, buyer should please initiate the return process. It is a return process because it entails:
Buyers should not be discouraged by our validating procedure. It is necessary to satisfy all parties in the trade. Buyer should hold unto our money back guarantee because we can only pay seller upon his/her satisfaction.
mykustoma is about the convenience of the buyer and delivering to proxy may be a buyer’s option. In this case, we need proxy phone number and address as shipping address. Then, we would deliver as the order requires.
Buyer can pick up orders and avoid shipping cost on mykustoma. In this case, buyer would go for the offline mode altogether. mykustoma gives the option where buyer meets with seller. Buyer should contact seller of item and negotiate payment and pick up.
myKustoma Money Back Guarantee
myKustoma Money Back Guarantee is an assurance to buyers that their money would be refunded if they are not satisfied with items purchased through the myKustoma platform. It is myKustoma’s first measure of trust for buyers.
